Wine and Hop Shop

We are upset and disturbed by what is happening to our friends and neighbors in Minneapolis, Maine, and other areas of the country. People have been murdered, including two whose killings were recorded for us all to see. Everyone has human and constitutional rights, and these rights are being trampled upon.

To show our solidarity with our neighbors to the west, we are closing the Shop Friday, January 30th to participate in a National Shutdown.

Participating people and businesses are choosing to not work, shop, or go to school Friday. If you choose to participate, we invite you to take time to let your elected representatives know how you feel or engage in mutual aid.

For the time being, the Shop is closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. Thanks!

-- Free delivery on orders over $100 in Madison. $5 charge for other deliveries. We deliver Fridays.

Please feel free to take advantage of the 2 parking spaces we have in the alley behind the Shop (only on our side of the alley). You can access the alley from both Van Buren and Harrison Streets. 

Welcome to the Wine and Hop Shop website! If you don't know us, we've been the homebrewing and winemaking headquarters for Madison, WI, for over 40 years. Locally owned, our shop is located at 1919 Monroe St. in Madison, just about six blocks away from Camp Randall Stadium.

We carry all types homebrewing and winemaking supplies, including fresh ingredients and quality equipment, while providing free and friendly service and advice. Meet our friendly staff!

We are open six days a week:

• Tuesdays 11-6
• Wednesdays Closed
• Thursdays 11-6
• Fridays 11-6
• Saturdays 10-5
• Sundays Closed
