WLP500 White Labs Monestary Ale


From one of the few remaining Trappist breweries remaining in the world, WLP500 Monestary Ale produces the distinctive fruitiness and plum characteristics. Excellent yeast for high gravity beers, Belgian ales, dubbels and trippels.

This yeast used to be called Trappist Ale.

Attenuation: 75-80%
Flocculation: Medium to Low
Optimum Ferment Temp: 65-72°F Lower temperatures (under 65°F) will result in less fruity and more earthy beers.
Alcohol Tolerance: High

We ship liquid yeast on Mondays and include a cold pack during warm months to ensure freshness.
