The Thief by Fermtech

The Thief's unique design allows you to insert a standard hydrometer directly into The Thief. Just follow the following steps for easy sample taking.

1. Sanitize The Thief and your hydrometer.
2. Place the hydrometer in The Thief.
3. Dip The Thief into your carboy or bucket and fill until the hydrometer floats.
4. Lift The Thief up. The valve on the bottom will automatically shut.
5. Take your reading.
6. Touch The Thief against the inside rim of your bucket or carboy to drain your wine or beer.
