Oak Cubes, Medium Toast, 4 oz (Hungarian)

This 4 ounce pack of Hungarian oak cubes measure approximately 1 cm square and are made from seasoned Hungarian Oak. Oak cubes take longer to impart their character to the wine than chips, but the flavor can be superior due to the higher volume of unexposed wood in the cube.

Medium toast Hungarian oak imparts a more delicate, slightly more gentile character than French oak.

Medium toast is probably the most popular toast and provides good oak flavor and character.

Recommended usage is 2 oz to 4 oz per 5 gallons of wine.
