Lalvin ICV-D-47 Dry Wine Yeast


Lalvin D-47 is our first choice for making white wines. Great for European-style white wines, cider, mead, or any of the white varietals grown in Wisconsin. D-47 settles out well for a clear wine.

Lalvin D-47 has an alcohol tolerance of 14% and ferments well between 59F and 70F.

Other great choices for fermenting white wines are Lalvin QA23 and Red Star Cote des Blanc.
