D-254 Dry Wine Yeast (Cellar Science)
The D254 dry wine yeast from Cellar Science is a Rhone isolate that can be used for both red and white wines. It enhances mouthfeel and color stability. In reds, it can impart a jammy, concentrated, soft ripe fruit character with mild spiciness.
We recommend using yeast nutrient in concert with this yeast. It is a fast fermenter that has an alcohol tolerance up to 16% ABV.
Use 1 gram per gallon.
