Corn Sugar 1 lb
$2.99
Dextrose, derived from corn, is useful for priming beer prior to bottling as well as an ingredient on brew day. As an ingredient corn sugar will produce a drier lighter beer with a higher alcohol content.
We recommend using around 1 lb of corn sugar per five gallons in the boil to increase alcohol without affecting the flavor much.
For priming 12 oz bottles, use around 3/4 - 1 tsp per bottle, or a cup per 5 gallons.
You can also use corn sugar to boost alcohol in wine recipes as well. Just add the amount of sugar per gallon that the recipe is calling for.
This is a 1 lb bag of corn sugar. Check out our other corn sugar and carbonation tablet options.
