The Brewer's Edge kettlescreen is a great, affordable alternative to a false bottom if you are getting into all-grain brewing on a budget. Also works really well in the boil kettle to strain out leaf hops and trub.
Just screw this into 3/8" threading on the backside of a kettle valve.
