Badger Dark Ale Extract Kit

The Badger Dark Ale is a fun beer, since it has a roasted flavor and aroma reminiscent of a stout or a porter, but is not as thick or sweet as stouts and porters can be. A great dark beer for the summer or if you are just getting into darker beers. If you are not into dark beers before you try this one, you will be by the end of a pint or three! This extract ale kit comes with yeast, select which type of yeast you'd like included with the kit using the selection list. While using liquid yeast is usually recommended (in this case, the Wyeast 1028), if you are looking for something a little more inexpensive, if it is a gift, or if it is being shipped the S-04 dry yeast works quite well for this kit and does not need refrigeration. The dry yeast (S-04) will be more resilient through the shipping process, although we do include cold packs during warm months with our liquid yeast to help ensure freshness.
