#8 First Quality Straight Cork, Single
We recommend using #8 straight corks for standard corkable wine bottles if you use a hand-held corker. Soaking them in hot water for 30-60 minutes before bottling will make them more pliable. A good idea, especially if you are using a hand-held corker to get these into the bottles.
These first quality corks are a high quality, agglomerated cork. These "agglo" corks are made from uniform shavings and unused portions of cork, and are mixed with appropriate food grade glue to form a dense, well-made cork. The corks are chamfered and printed with a decorative grape leaf pattern.
This is a great cork to use with the Gilda or Double Lever Corker. We sell this cork individually, by the dozen, by the hundred, or by the thousand.
Dimensions are 7/8" x 1 3/4"
