Oak Cubes, Medium Toast, 4 oz (French)

This 4 ounce pack of French oak cubes measure approximately 1 cm square and are made from seasoned French Oak. Oak cubes take longer to impart their character to the wine than chips, but the flavor can be superior due to the higher volume of unexposed wood in the cube.

Medium toast French oak imparts a vanilla sweetness, fuller mouthfeel, and hints of fresh fruit and cinnamon.

Medium toast is probably the most popular toast and provides good oak flavor and character.

Recommended usage is 2 oz to 4 oz per 5 gallons of wine.
