The German Rauchbier is the ultimate in smoke beers. Using a large portion of German smoked malt, this all grain recipe has a strong malt backbone that will have a strong smoke flavor and aroma, which may remind you of delicious smoked meat. We’ve added just a hint of honey malt to create a unique and delicious flavor, like your favorite honey-smoked foodstuff. This beer can be made as an ale or lager to be enjoyed all year round no matter what your tastes.

This kit comes with liquid yeast. Use the pick list to select which you'd like. If you'd like to make a lager, use one of the WLP830 or Wyeast 2308; if you'd like to make an ale, use one of the WLP029 or Wyeast 1007.

We send our liquid yeast out at the beginning of the week and include a cold pack during hot months to ensure freshness.
