This all grain barleywine homebrew kit comes with yeast. Choose which type you'd like to use from the list above. Because of the high starting gravity of this brew, we recommend purchasing a second yeast pack or making a yeast starter. We recommend using either of the liquid yeasts (WLP007 or Wyeast 1098). The dry yeast (Nottingham) will be more resilient through the shipping process, although we do include cold packs during warm months with our liquid yeast to help ensure freshness.
