Honey 2 lb

Honey adds alcohol and a subtle sweetness and honey flavor to beer, wine, cider, or mead. In beer and wine, 1-2 lbs. per 5 gallons adds a nice flavor without making it too crazy sweet.

For mead, we recommend using between 3 and 5 lbs. of honey per gallon, depending on how much alcohol and sweetness you want.

Our local honey comes from Kickapoo Honey in Highland, WI, a nice mom and pop honey producer.
