Whirlfloc tablets are clarifying agents used in brewing during the boil. It is a concentrated tablet derived from Irish Moss. Add one tablet per 5 gallon batch in the last 15 minutes of the boil to promote clarity.
Irish Moss is a popular clarifier for beer, as is ClarityFerm.
This is a pack of 10 Whirlfloc tablets. We also sell 1 lb Whirlfloc tablet containers.
The hardest part of using them is splitting them in half for 5 gallon batches. Drop it in 10 mins twoards the end of the boil and get nice clear beer a few weeks later. Good stuff.
